Default Predator question

Hey everyone,

I have a Predator question for those that purchased the unit.
I purchased my unit and it is supposed to come with 3 basic tunes (87, 91 and 93 octane).
I’m a also putting a K&N CAI and a Magna Pak exhaust system at the same time.

Am I going get any issues? Will I really see any increase in performance?

I have a 2005 GT auto.

I've only got a V6 BUT yes, you'll notice an increase in responsiveness AND a general feeling of an "overall power increase"

ALTHOUGH the guys on here say that you'd be better of getting an Excalibur rather than a Predator. I don't have the cash available to get both so I can't tel you either way which is better.

Does it help.. TOO RIGHT IT DOES

just my pennies worth

not to hijack your thread, but I had another question on these programmers. In doing research on xcalibrator, predator, and the like, I've noticed you're very limited to what you can calibrate yourself. It seems they either don't trust the end user or want residual profits for their dealers. Does anyone know where one could purchase a kit where you can really dig into the computer settings? Things like etc settings, dashpot control, closed loop o2 target voltages, etc?

You can purchase the software platform from either tuner for about 2k....Second option would be to take your Pred/Xcal2 to an authorized dealer and have them dyno tune the program.
We charge $250.00 on a stock internals fox/mod, this includes all bolt ons you may have. Cars with FI and or modified internals run about $500.00. It's not just plug and play even if you have this software, there's alot of fine tuning/tweeking involved.....JMHO
