OK, before anyone flames me, I used the search feature and found no information on this subject. I know someone will make it an issue as I've seen in many other posts, sorry. If it is posted elsewhere, a link to this subject would be appreciated...

Has any one installed an interior upgraded mirror with the autodim, exterior temp, compass, and Homelink options? If so, where did you find the mirror and how difficult are they to instal? If you had the mirror installed by a dealer, what was the cost? My biggest issue is getting rid of the big bulky garage door opener hanging from my visor and to also have the other options listed, especially the temp option.

It was I who did the switch... I ordered it when I ordered the car. The dealership wrote off the "installation" and only had me pay for the mirror and they even got it at a dealer discount for me so I paid less then the posted retail price.

So, how hard was it to install.... ... easy as taking a nap!

What did it cost.... um... er.... $35,000

Thanks PW, I think I'll leave it to the dealer to install. I have one on other vehicles and it is great. Especially the Homelink. I hate having this ugly old POS controller hanging from my visor. I even thought of hiding it somewhere but that is just not working out.
