Are you flying out there or driving yourself? Not sure I could trust anybody with my baby - I'd rent a truck and trailer and pull it myself.

I just used Reliable Carriers in September to bring the Mustang from Cincinnati to the Phoenix area. Cost was about $1300.00 they use enclosed trailers. They hauled the Concept car around the country while testing etc. Reliable hauls alot of the new cars out of Detroit as well. The ONLY complaint that I would have is that they haul the cars with the windows open.

I have also used InterCity Lines to haul various other cars and they do an AWESOME job. Would recommend both carriers but would lean toward InterCity if given a choice. The reason I went with Reliable this time around was scheduling. They could pick the car up quicker than InterCity. InterCity's price was $1600.00 if I remember correctly. I would have used InterCity but they could not pick up the vehicle for about a month down the road. Did not want to wait any longer for the Stang than we already did. If you use Reliabe Carriers just try and talk the driver to at least close the passenger side window. The interior will get a little dusty if the windows are left down.

Hope this helps!!

Where you moving to in Arizona. I'm up in the Cave Creek area.

I've used Horseless Carriage before, they did a great job. The cars are shipped in an enclosed semi. The even wrap the car in loose plastic. They brought an '82 Vette from Tennessee to NJ for me for $900. Their rates vary depending on their scheduling and availability. They specialize in exotic cars. Their website is www.horselesscarriage.com. Check them out. There's another company based in Orlando, Florida - I believe their name is Exotic Car Carriers. They have yellow semis. The Horseless Carriage ones are green and white. I've never used the Florida company but I've seen their trucks on the road a lot.

Damn, that's pretty expensive for a road trip. I've been looking at the prices of getting mine from Germany to the States and I'm getting an average quote of $1000. I guess there's different pricing for Trans-Oceanic shipping. ??? [sm=dontgetit.gif]

Hmmm, Bet ya it's without container but yes, insured. I don't completely remember, it was about four months ago that I inquired about it before ordering the Mustang. I'm leaving in Sep 06 so I need to start checking on it again.
