Default Possible stupid question

Newbie here with a possible stupid quetion. Here goes: I just bought my wife a black on black 5 speed GT and had the silver stripes put on today. Is ok to put a cover on the car or should I wait for a couple of days? Please be kind, don't be harsh, remember Im' a newbie. Thanks for any responce.

Were they painted on? If so I would wait at LEAST a week for the paint to dry.

jk...i don't see why you couldn't put a cover on it. just make sure it is a decent cover of course

dont go cheap on the cover, get one thats an EXACT fit and made for the mustang, some places even have it for with or without spoiler...

if you go cheap on the cover and get a generic one, it will end up flapping around and scratching the hell out of the car... everywhere.

(can you tell it happened to me?)

The paint is completely dry a couple of hours after they paint the car, then it's cured under UV lights.

You can buff it the same day.
