Default Fog lights

I was wondering if when you are driving at night do you always have your fog lights on? I have had people flashing their high beams at me. Are they to bright? Please give me some feedback, thanks

I just give 'em the brights back....any knucklehead with the smallest bit of knowledge about cars knows that if the fogs are on..the lows are on...now Im not saying someone cant wire their lights differently but 99.9 percent of us out there usually dont mess with the wiring....I have the same issues riding my Road King with the passing lamps on

I usually only drive with my fog lights on when their is no oncoming traffic. When a car comes I turn them off then back on when its clear. Im tired of getting flashed by people thinking they are high beams. I did let a few idiots who flashed me see how bright my high beams are though

I've never been flashed by anybody... Are you saying that the yokels flash their brights because they see 4 headlights? When that happens just blind 'em back by hitting the left hand stalk off the steering wheel!
And you shouldn't go turning the fogs on and off. That's not good. You should be watching the road and not reaching forward all the time. I use my fogs about 90% of the time. Helps me to see anything that might be to the sides.

i always turn on my fogs when it is getting dark, not only does it look cook but it also gives better vision

i do periodically get some flashes, mainly because people actually think they are the highs of the car, but i usually ignore it, if i am having a bad day i might flash them back

I use my fogs all the time and every once in a while I get flashed. I just flash them back. My wife got stopped one day because they thought she was using her high beams and they were blinding them in their rearview mirror. She told them that it is a new car and she had the fog lights on and not the highs. Isn't that what the day/night switch on the mirror is for? Some people just don't know how to use that fancy switch.

Ive got the flash now and then too. Its funny its always on the road right by my house, which is a little hilly.
I had a GT behind be one day and it is on the bright side when the angle is just right.

I use mine all the time and have never gotten flashed by another car.

- Just flash them back, then they will realize that they were in the wrong.

I get it ALL the time. I even had a guy in a mercedes SUV slow down and stop in the middle of the road in front of me, then when I passed him he put his brights on me and rode my *** about a foot off my bumper. Once I figured out what his problem was, I pulled over and followed him for a few miles with my brights on.

They ARE kinda bright, but they are legal so fu*k em all. I have them on whenever it is dark.

Now that's the spirit......one questions though. Why did you let him ride your ***? You should have been a mile in front of him.
