Default keyless entry pad

so i just received my keyless entry pad from steeda, but i have no idea where to put it, walked around my car for about 30 minutes with it just looking for a good spot to put it because a lot of places were just ugly

i was wondering if other people had this and where they put it

thanks

I have a thread in here somewhere, with a photo or two showing where I mounted it.

Update---found the thread: https://mustangforums.com/m_652702/m.../tm.htm#660170

Basically, driver's side door, under the handle, to the right a bit.

The trick is to find the part of the door that is nearly FLAT--most of it is curved!

No, it's not "elegant", but it works damn good! Last club meeting one member was fussing about having AAA come unlock his doors so he could crawl through to the truck where his keys were

With my kids, it's proven its value already!!

under the mirror sounds like a nice idea, those damn things are huge- but i love it i can see about as much behind me as i can in front of me lol. i dont know about under the spoiler, you might have to end up splicing wires if the ones in there arent long enough, which i dont think they would be. If your feeling a bit bold (i'm not sure if i could do it) but- you could cut into the door pannel, add some supports (and weather stripping of corse) and mount it flush on the door. yeah- that would be a big pain in the *** but the end result would be worth it over having that ungodly mess hanging off your door.

yet another option- take the handle off your door, dissassemble the pad, mount the board inside your door somewhere and splice some extention wires to the pad which you mount flush on the door handle .

wow... dosent sound like you have any easy options bud...

best of luck... really

Im pretty sure theres no wires needed for the keyless entry pad. If thats what you meant by splicing wires n such.
