I would like to have blue calipers (sonic blue preferrably) can my local body shop do this. or is it better to order them blue?

I want mine painted as well.....I think a local shoop should be able to do it.

 

Me three but all I can find on line is bright blue and I am afraid it will stick out horrible against the dark blue car

 

go to wal mart and get the 900 degree heat resistant caliper paint, comes in many colors for like 10 bux... i bougth some for my sister to paint her's red, i'm doing mine sooner or later... i'll let ya know how it goes when i get around to it. BTW i'm doin it myself... its not a hard job if you wanted to save some money and not pay a shop

How about the engine paint they sell. Will that stand up to caliper heat ?

 

yeah, just go to your local autozone or whatever and get the caliper paint. I painted mine black. It was super easy and didn't take too long. I wouldn't pay some shop to do it unless you have money to burn.

 

how hard is it to take them off??? or did u paint them without taking off?

 

You buy the Caliper Paint Kit in the color you like...

Take the wheels off one by one...

Give them two coats of this paint, letting each coat dry before adding a second coat...

Put the wheels back on and you are in business...

Easy, easy, easy job!!!
