It all depends on what spoiler you want to install. The Xenon, the Roush, the Legend, and the Cervini will all cover ( and some actually use ) the factory spoiler holes.

Your best bet would definitely be to get the spoiler delete if you intend on installing an aftermarket one and don't know for sure. But if you don't have the choice ( i.e. find the exact car you want on a lot but it has a spoiler ) I certainly wouldn't let it be a deal breaker because there are alternatives out there that do use the factory spoiler holes.

i kinda like the Steeda or the 3d carbon, but it looks kinda import, but it does use the stock holes, i love the duck tail but will wait and see how the final GT500 duck tail looks before i swap it out..

if u can get it without the spoiler do it, i hate mine..but there are many options for you... but by all means get it without if u can
+1. Will make the ducktail install much easier down the road. Also looks cleaner (IMHO) without.

fairline292, your car looks great. exact car im looking for. im looking at a 1967 black coupe with tourque thrust 18 in. wheels and a basically stock 289 today though so i might just opt for the classic if it turns out to be nice. otherwise your car is exactly what i want. nice car.

i wish it was a manual though.....oh well....T5 conversions are supposed to be not to difficult....i dono though...sounds expensive and extensive....

Anyone have info on the Shelby spoiler as in this year’s auto show and whether it will it fit ours?

Pictures of the Shelby's and then 3D Carbon:

They look very similiar.

The Shelby one looks like one peice attaching to the trunk only.
I like that Guess we are all gonna have to wait until it comes out

I believe the Shelby unit will be very similair (if not an exact match) for this one offered by Gene Evans Ford. It's a one piece and uses the existing factory spoiler holes. Just got mine in last night. Can't wait to see it on the car!

This is the CDC Ducktail. And it is best to get spoiler delete.
