Default Cervinis DuckTail

Can you put on a Cervinis DuckTail on a stock 05 GT body? Will it flow with the stock rear facia? Thanks.

It will, but only if you have the Spoiler Delete option, as it doesn't cover the holes used to hold the stock spoiler in place.

They sell a delete kit, but it's somewhat ugly IMO.

I was under the impression from reading threads on ducktails on another forum that the Cervini did in fact cover the factory holes.

It doesn't. They have other types of ducktails that do though.

I called them and told them I was ordering an 06 and wanted to know if the ducktail covered the factory spoiler holes. They told me yes it did. I said if it didn't, I could order the factory delete. They said it wasn't necessary. Can someone that actually has the Cervini's ducktail chime and and set the record straight? -Joe

Your thinking of CDC, they have the spoiler that doesn't cover the holes and the UGLY delete kit.

Cervinis does cover the holes.

However, I think it may be to big, look at the 3DCarbon, probably a better option as far as 'Flow' is concerned. It does cover the holes

The Cervinis spoiler does cover the stock holes, without a doubt.

As for flowing with the back end, that's a little harder to judge. It depends on how picky you are.

The spoiler contours to the shape of the back end pretty well. However it adds some thickness to parts of the car that are pretty easily noticable.

Where the rear bumper connects to the side panel, that joint there, you'll have a bit more thickness from the spoiler, not much but it's noticable if you're looking for it.

I like it, and I'm currently having it put on my car with Cervini's side exhaust kit as well.
