does anyone know if u can use a tower brace with the plenum covers from midwest autogear thanks 4 the help [&:]

I don't think so....the brace would go right over the middle of it anyway, probably not worth buying the plenum cover in that case??

It takes a bit of alteration, but if you really want both you can get it to work. Most strut braces will actually clear the cover, but with the movement from the car the brace will begin to hit the cover as you drive. So if you really want both what you'll need to do it take a sander or some other tool and make a groove in the center of the cover, from one side to another, where the strut brace overlaps it.

Obviously this will destroy any paint on the cover, but you can then get the cover repainted and fit it back on the plenum, and then have the strut brace on without any problems.
