Tokico D-Spec Series
In plain english, can someone tell me exactly what the Tokico D-Spec Series do. I'm going to swap out my wheels and those shocks were recommended. I've looked them up on the web but all that jargon is driving me crazy.
I need someone to tell me what these things do in plain english before I dish out $600+ . Thanks.

they want you to get a fully adjustable suspension because a car with 30 series tires will ride alot harder then one with 50 series tires. and right now the tokico setup is the best bang for your buck, if money is no object i would recommend tein suspension... but i have tokico that i havent installed yet

Hawgman, thanks for the info. I take it that comes in handy if you have to go on a long trip but would imagine that for the most part it would be in stiff mode cause ya never know when your going to need it.
As for lostsoul and twister086, when I said plain english I really meant it. I have no idea what the difference is between 50 and 30 series tires or what the hell 12 to 16 adjustable poinst are which, if it rocks, I should kwow but I appreciate your input guys.

The stock shocks are set for the ride height it currently sits at once you lower the car it causes the shocks to be partially compressed. This makes the ride a little rough since the shocks are not adjustable you won't get the full range of the shock once you change the ride height. The adjustable ones have adjustments to stiffen or soften ride quality, stiffer for the track and softer for street use. The difference in the 50 and 30 series tires is the amount of tire between you and th road, the less tire the rougher the ride.

well i have no experience with tein suspension on a mustang, but driving many 01-up m3's with there full suspension kit from tein compared to stock they are the best i have ever seen... and are really only practical on a track car, i honestly think you will be ok with tokico struts... thats what i went with (more bang for the buck) but teins kit will really slam your center of gravity. 1.8' front and 2.5' rear. its up to you im not a tein rep so give them a call... all i can do is give you my ok, good, better, best... opinions and tokico would be my better and tein would be my best.

I can't read this graph on the Tokico D-Specs:

Can someone explain the horizontal and vertical scales?
