Default Stripes on Spoiler

I'm going to be striping my pony here in the near future (painted of course) and wanted to know people's opinions on what to do with the spoiler. I will be doing two stripes from bumper to bumper. I havent seen too many pictures of how others have dealt with the spoiler (i have the factory spoiler). Do you continue the stripe on the spoiler itself. Do you leave the spoiler alone and only stripe the trunk? Do you stripe both? What would you do? (plan on doing silver stripes on Sonic Blue).

Also, i got a quote to do the stripes along with clear coat for $1000. Is this a good price? Thanks.

Personally, I prefer a striped spoiler. It just seems to stick out too much if it isn't done.

From everything I've seen, that sounds like a pretty good price, but I'll let the others tell you better.

Also, does anyone have pictures of various striped mustangs with or without the spoiler painted?

I'd say stripe the spoiler, but I'm biased. I've never seen one with the spoiler un-striped, but I don't think it would look right.

As for the price, that sounds like a pretty good deal.

EDIT: You can find pics here.

What width are your stripes and what is the space between them. I really like yours! Hopefully mine will look that good.

Thanks! Mine are 12" stripes with about a 2" space between them.

Gloves, I love your stripes... I have a satin Silver V6 with the upgraded int. and sport ext. I was going to stripe black, as the side 'mustang' stripes are black, but then I scrolled down and saw those blue stripes on yours and I have to go blue now... My car is at the dealer to get the stripes done. I will pick up Friday when I get back into town. They are painting them on, w/ clear coat, bumper to bumper, for a little over $500. With the exception of the Used car managers, everyone at the dealership has been great so far, and the Service Dept, and Body shop especialy so. n They did a white Saleen on the sales floor with the blue 11.25", so I could see what it would look like, and I can't wait... now I need to find a hood scoop and side Louvers... they quoted $200 to paint all 3 in Satin Silver... I will post pics after I get back this weekend Can't wait..........
