THAT looks so much more finished!

Makes you wonder why Ford didn't paint them to start with!

Thanks for the feedback...much appreciated

VinCist00,

step 1. drive your Mustang to your local Walmart or autostore
step 2. purchase caliper paint kit in color of your choice (i bought Dupli-Color Caliper Paint kit)
step 3. pull wheel of your choice, clean caliper with cleaner provided (basic brake cleaner), allow to dry
step 4. apply said paint to calipers using the special applicator tool, wait 10 mins, reapply
step 5. VERY IMPORTANT! Don't forget to re-attach the wheel/tire to the car before lowering and removing the jack used in step 3
step 6. repeat steps 3-5 until there are no more calipers to paint (should be approx 4 calipers, depending on your model)

in all seriousness it was very easy, you could go the xtra mile and remover the calipers but it's really not necessary...the paint goes on easy but does take a couple of coats to get a solid cover...dries very quickly too

took me about 1 hr total time, and requires nothing more than your basic tire changing tools. Have fun!!!

Hey man that looks awsome! You have inspired me to do mine tonight or as soon as I can. My car is legend lime, what color would you suggest? Do you think red would look ok? Black? Thanks

just my .02...(i'm no artist) but if u have the stock rims, gloss black calipers might look good on the legend lime car...

I think the main reason the red looks good on mine is due to the black rims. I didn't really look but it seems like u could repaint if the color ends up not lookin right, someone else might be more knowledgeable bout that.

good luck! post some pics if u end up doing it

Rezalien: looks terrific! I hated the chincy bright silver paint that Ford used on the calipers. In my case I really don't want the calipers to be noticed. The night I brought it home I simply masked them off and sprayed them with cast iron gray, manifold paint from VHT. It's a flat, cast finish; perfect for my particular application.

Anyway, the look you've got there is HOT!!!!
