Default Which lowering springs?

I'm looking for a set of springs that will lower my GT about 1" in front and whatever is needed in the rear to make it sit level. I'm guessing maybe 1-1/2" to 1-3/4". Who makes a spring set like this? Will also be installing Tokico D Spec shocks. If I can't find the right springs I could install coilovers by H&R or Progress. They would give me alot of flexability to adjust height but cost over $1000 !!!
Any sugestions?

Eibach, steeda, tein, road magnet, any other brands. These lower your ride height and still stay comfortable. But which has the best performance? Eibach has the progressive coil design, but wouldn't that hurt performance some?

I don't know that any springs would hurt performance. Everyone I've talked to say that the handling feels better with the springs, it might make the ride a little stiffer but thats it. Another brand to get is Roush. I've got those on the rear of my car and it really leveled it out.

I have done a bit of searching around and this is what I cam up with for drops.

Steeda Ultralight-- F -1.0 / R -1.25
Eibach Pro -- F -1.3 / R -1.4
Eibach Sportline F -1.6 / R -2.0
Tein S-Tech F -1.5 / R -2.2
Tein H-Tech F -0.9 / R -1.7
Roush ??

When looking at comparisons the Saleen kit looks pretty good for 799 including Shocks, Struts, Springs, and a sway bar for $800

Sorry, I meant hurt the potential performance the spring could offer without that initial softness of a progressive design. Basically, all these coils lower your car and improve handling. But which improves handling the most?

Another side question (sorry to steal this thread). I plan to get some d-spec's, but coilovers sometime in the future. Would I get any resale value on a set of one or two year old d-spec's?

Ford Racing springs drop it 1.5" front and rear. I am doing this install today. They are a good value also. And after doing the rearand taking a test drive, I feel like Ford got the progressive rates spot on.

Thanks for all the replies. Nobody out there running coilovers? I think these would allow me to set the height exactly where I want it but I'm not sure how they would ride/perform. Any comments on coilovers?
