LOL. I was wondering how the stang owners in here who have installed quarter window accessories (louvres, scoops) feel about the blind spots they create. I really would love to get the Roush louvers but I don't know if I could stand create an additional blindspot where I currently have none.

i don't know how the people do it here, because i was looking into getting louvers too, but i had the same concern
to test it i just taped some paper of the windows and tried to see how much i can see

definite blind spot, the mirrors cover a lot more than other cars do, but i still find it dangerous...and being a 17 year old who is just "fresh" on the roads...this would not be in best interest...

I was wondering the same thing. I really want to get the CDC open louvers but I am not certain I would like the blind spot they create. In addition, how do you clean the windows behind the CDC tape on models? For that simple fact I would have to go with the roush scoops that are removeable with the screws, but they have an even greater blind spot. Which one is better for performance and what one do you think looks better? By performance I mean install easibility and maintainance issues versus just plain style. Mustang owners that have these already installed, tell us what you like and dislike about the models you bought and installed.

Thanks for any inputs!

I was considering getting louvers for my new pony but you're absolutely right. I am always pulling out in the median area And looking out the small fastback and window. With the louvers there I would not be able to see a thing. I think I will pass on the louvers.

I have the Gen 1 louvers, and notice very little reduced visibility.
They are funcional, so you can still see through the slits.
I got mine at the link below, along with my Xenon hood scoop.
The reason I chose this site was beacause i could have them paint my mods.
They did a great job on both pieces.

I think the whole thing of not being able to clean the quarter windows may be another deciding factor for me.

I can't see **** through mine.

but it's worth it 10x over! THEY ARE SO DAMN COOL!

It's not that bad, just check your mirrors, and then look
through your side window and back window, then increase
speed to 110 mph. By then, it's clear to turn.

Actually, it's a lot easier than driving my dad's Ranger with
blacked out LEER cab on the back so nobody can look in
and see all the expensive tools they could smash and grab.

They want over $300 for painted ones?
And they expect you to tell them the paint code and still warn that they may get damaged in shipping?
Uh, NO thanks!
