Default Looking for opinions...

I have quite the dilema on my hands. I am 18 and am attending college at the U of Nebraska (not exactly cheap, but the job i have supports that as well as the subject of my post). My dad has raised me as a Mustang enthusiast and I am VERY interested in buying a 06 'stang GT. My main question is if Ford will eventually start production on standard Cobras again (none of this super-rare Shelby stuff) and if it'd be worth the wait for that rather than feeding my current needs for style and speed? What do you think... spend my hard-earned money on a new car now, or wait for a possible improvment? Thanks!

Default RE: Looking for opinions...

I'm pretty sure that the new Shelby Cobra is taking the place of the regular cobras. It is the Cobra version of the car. I don't think they will come out with another cheaper version of the cobra, but there will probalby be other limited production versions of the mustang with different perfomance packages. No one knows what they will be or how much they will cost though. As for the Cobras, you might have to wait a year or longer for the price of it to go down. If you can wait a while, I say wait a buy one of the cobras. If you don't feel like waiting, go buy a Mustang GT. I bought my when I was 20 and I am also in college now. There's nothing better than pulling up to campus in a new 06 mustang.

Good Luck!
