Hey fellas, it's me, the guy who was asking if a 6'2" guy could fit in a convertible. Took a GT model for a test drive, with the manual tranny. First start, stalled it. Haven't driven a manual tranny since I got married ( 18 years, had a turbo 300ZX before I met the little woman). After that first start no problem. I fit in it very nicely with the power seat all the way down. Working out the price with local Ford dealers. Thing is I would like to have BLUETOOTH ( wife's MDX has it, I love it!!). Yorkdale Ford tells me they can install one for $800 CDN. IS it worth it?

whats the point of bluetooth in a car?

 

Handsfree for cell phones with bluetooth support.

 

I just toss on my Motorola HS850 Bluetooth handsfree ear bud when I get in!

Cost a WHOLE lot less then $800.

 

Lol, yeah I got the same one, actually 2. I payed 40-45 bucks. Thought the 1st one died, picked up a second. Then figured out it just needed to be reset to the phone. doh!
I keeped one in the car, and one in the house. Until yesterday when I left it in my shirt pocket and the g/f washed it. Will find out today if it came back to life. But I think its a slim to none chance.

I would never not get a phone that I couldnt use it with. These things are great!

having one installed just for the car is a waste imo. Cant take the car into the grocery store with you!

 

Can't use the bluetooth headset. I'm deaf, in order to hear I have a cochlear implant. It's a separate headpiece that attaches to my skull, magnetically. Anyway, I'm not getting one; my phone has a speaker feature anyway.
