Purchased a Xenon Hood Scoop, wanted to get some opinions prior to painting and taping on!

I think it definitely complements the chin spoiler, just by the angles it [the chin spoiler] creates. I'd go for it.

 

I really didn't like it at first glance. But now that Spartan mentions the chin, it does look fine. Obviously it'll look much better when it's finished. You already have it. Go for it.

 

Paint it black or match the Tungsten?

 

Honestly I don't care for it, but I do like the grill.

 

I have the same on mine. I was looking for a grill to insert into it. You can buy mess grill that you can form into what ever. That way it will look functional.

 

I have to say i like the look of the scoop, especially with the front spoiler. However, I have to warn you that the local Ford dealership had painted one and attached it to one of the screaming yellow 'verts when I bought my '06 in late October and when I stopped in there the other day it had already warped badly (i.e. no longer sitting flush all the way around). I certainly hope this doesn't happen to you, but I thought I'd warn you none the less.

 

i always thought it looked goofy... i'd say if you want to change your hood get a cowl hood or a cali-dream hood

you paid a bit of money for that car your rollin in... dont cheap scape yourself out of anything
