For a price, I can make Patty available. That price will include steam cleaning the interior, and you won't get the keys to her, just a 1/2 hour, in my garage. If you want to video tape it, it will be extra!!!!

Wow.... I just read this entire thread and it was more entertaining than the Comedy Channel. The guys who dont name their cars probably have secret names for one of their body parts. The ones who do name their cars probably use the same name for one of their body parts. Bottom line is "whatever floats your boat". I'm the "TinPony"....and my "Stang" is
Viagra Blue.... I mean Windveil Blue....

RE: What should I name her?
Ours doesn't have a name except we both argue over who's car it is... My Car (he says)...No its MY CAR (I say) so I guess her name is "MY CAR!"
Bikers name their bikes too, ours is "the Girlfriend" because I think he rides her more than...er uh me! I like the name rather than the mistress. It sounds like he's cheating on me calling it the Mistress!

TinPony: Glad you found this amusing; as one of the apparent few on this thread who would never name the car; I must say I had some great laughs; more than with any other thread out here ever. ..although my great humor was found in what a few of my buddies who ain't naimg their car had to say. ...still makes me laugh. All in great fun, no matter how ya look at it. I'l refrain from any more comments; at least for the time being (lol)

Fairlane292: Don't hold back your comments, I found them quite entertaining. We can agree to disagree on the subject and be done with it. However I'll bet people you dont even know, that see your "car" everyday have a name for it that you dont even know about. If I saw it on the street I would refer to it as the Flaming Pony or the Fiery Ford or something similiar.
People have been naming their cars since they began... EX: "TinLizzy, Horseless carriage. Do you recall Craig Breedlove's
"Spirit of America" or Don Garlits "Swamp Rat" or Art Arfons "Green Monster" or Bersteins "Budweiser King". I could keep going until I filled the page. Some cars aren't really named they just acquire a handle after awhile because of their looks
or purpose such as my 87 Nissan p/u, I call it "the Beater" simply because thats what it is used for. I know guys who
refer to their "ride" (another name for car) as a "Babe Wagon". Some fit the title and some don't. But that is strictly a judgement call on the viewers part. My first encounter with a "named" car was a friend who had a blown Deuce coupe
know as the "Stump Puller". That was many years ago and I've always thought cars should have a name. It's that final
touch of personalization that you can't get at the speed shop or on Ebay that makes your machine unique!! If you choose
not to name your car, I can't believe anyone would have any problem with that. And yes, this is great fun.......
I'd like to change my cars name to 10second pony or supercharged pony, and maybe someday Ill be able to.....
