Default Coilover questions

Looking to fit my stang with a set of coilovers. But I don't know which is best. I plan to do some autoXing, track days, and try some drifting. Here are the coilovers I've found to date:

Ground Control coilover kit - $1599
Tein super street coilover kit - $1350
Tein Type FLEX coilover kit - $2000
H&R coilover kit - $1099

Please add others that you may know of. I've heard from friends that the Tein kits are softer than desireable for the track. I don't have experience with any of these companies, so I'd like to know which is the best buy. Thanks!

Don;t know if they have an 05+ kit, but Maximum motorsports makes nice setups as well as Griggs racing.

What is the use for the sus.? Thats the real question. Are you going to drag it, show it, or road race it?

Everyone: just keep buying those slow GT’s and I’ll keep smokin’ them.

PEACE.

you my friend are a dumbass for two reasons.

1. Your sig is retarded....I'm glad you think you are some big shot because you drive a cobra. (FYI it doesn't make your dick bigger!!)

2. Don't post when you didn't actually READ the question. He says he will be doing so autoX (for your noob self that means road course racing), street, track, and try some drifting!!!!!

I don't think I'd go for the H&R ones, they don't seem to be as high of quality as the rest of the bunch, not to mention they make an ugly show car. http://www.seriouswheels.com/2005/20...-1600x1200.htm [:'(] Gigantic rear wing, non-functioning roof scoop, single wiper blade, to me a company that does this to their premiere automobile is more concerned with impressing the world of drifters than they are in actually making a drift worthy car. Not to mention this car has a fully decked out alacantra interior and a pioneer sound system, yet the only performance mod to the "race" car is a set of flowmasters, hardly much of an improvement. I'd rather buy from a company serious about the technology and not the look.

Oh and Cobra, if you meet Jaye, Eclipstang, or Elanor, ask how nice our mods are to trolls, or else you'll find out soon enough.

Good points, No.

Looking over the Ground Control kit, it really does offer a lot. But one thing none of these companies list is the range of settings. I've been told that 10kg/mm is the softest I should go. Any ideas on the range of these kits? How about stiffness on the Tokiko D-specs? Not coilovers, but I've heard lots of good things about them.

I would check out

www.seanhylandmotorsports.com

The front page should explain everything....

Give them a call.
