Default Side Scoops

Has anyone seen the Xenon side scoops on a real car? How do they look? I used to have Lund Hood Scoops on my F-150. They looked OK but I got tired of them after a while. It's hard to tell from photos how they actually look. How seams are etc.

Also, how about the side window louvers. What do you think of them. I've seen neither on any cars around here.

Appreciate you input.

Really.

Good to know. Was it the style or did the quality look off or what?

I was thinking about painting the louvers flat black so it wouldn't look like I was trying to make it look like original equipment. I think that might make some difference.

Thanks for the input.

Yeh the Roush side windows are rigid & the screw in, I dont like that at all- the xenon ones look better in pictures plus they dont screw in, they stick on, but I havent seen them on any real cars yet-

I just installed the gilled window louvers on my car, (pictures to follow shortly)...and they are the 3M double stick tape variety and NOT bolt ons. I like the quality and how easy they are to install. Mine are from the 3D brand, not xenon however. I like the louvers v.s. the scoops. However i suppose it, much like all mods and customizing are personal preference. Two important things to keep in mind. 1 the adhesive promoter you put on the window before applying the louvers with the tape is sooo corrosive that you can not let it touch the car paint or it will damage it. Also, once the part is installed you lose ALL visibility out of the rear quarter windows. It makes what little visibility there was to begin with completely removed. However i suppose its a small price to pay for what i felt was a rather impactive mod for nominal costs. Hope this helps

I have the Street Scene ones. They are a slotted so you can see through them a little.

They fit good, but I think you need with these the lower scoops. If you only want upper louvers go just with the roush kind.
