Default Smoked Tail Light Covers

Are there any places selling smoked tail light covers out there? I can't seem to find any.

I just had a bad experience with the actual tint (the 3 sections to the tail lights were black, but everything around it was red and just looked cheap) so I am now resorting to the covers that can easily pop/screw on and off.

Thanks

If you use the tint, try pin stripe tape around and between the panels

haha...... I got mine off ebay too. $19.95 but I just got the two brake lights. Extremely easy to apply, and looked good anywhere beyond 25 feet away, but up close it just looked cheap (and it was........ guess you get what you pay for).

I went to a local shop who actually paints it, looks good just too bad the only way to get it off is by buying two whole new brake lights [:@] which is why I have resorted to the covers.

Thanks Spartan for your reply, exactly what I was looking for.

No problemo. I ask a lot of questions here, and try to answer or help as much as possible.

I saw a black GT the other day with the taillight covers, man it was hot. I've got a black V6, with dual exhaust, so I'm definitely aiming for that look. I might even grab the headlight covers, modify them a bit so that I can pull them on and off easily.

I got mine (GTS smoke covers) from AutoAccessory4u.com and think they look good. I also have the rear-panel black out - makes it look even better IMO. WIll try to post a pic or two this weekend.

I bought the headlight covers as well ... didn't fit very well. After two attempts at adjusting them, I cracked one when I shut the hood

Damn, $40 down the drain. That's like 40 Cokes/Pepsis..

Well, how did the headlight covers mount? You just slide them in somehow? Were there screws involved?
