Default Question regarding Mods...?

I am thinking about doing some mods to my '06 GT Premium Vert. The first mod planned is an air intake, not sure of brand yet though. My question is...

Is it neccessary to "tune", or use a modding device to adjust the setting from stock to use an air intake. I have read a few things on here that have conflicted. I plan on either a K&N or the intake from Steeda. I do also plan on installing an exhaust system, but later on down the line. Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.

Also...Where do you guys get that chin spoiler? I love the way it looks.

Much appreciated

Just just put on a cold air kit and I had previously heard that the stock computer could adjust to just a cold air kit. I lost about 20 horspower on the dyno without the tune. It went into "lymph mode" because the computer didn't understand what was going on. You definately want to get a cold air kit AND tuner combo. It'll run you anywhere from about 500 to 600 dollars. I hear it's worth it. Check out Brenspeed. They seem to work well with the 05/06's.See here

Brenspeed is great helping people who are just learning.
Order a combo package, you'll need the tuner down the
road anyway. Mod=re-tune.
