Default Fog/driving lights???

I've had my 06 GT for about 2 weeks and the fog/driving lights reflector is changing a bluish color. Anyone here having
this issue?

Mine are just coated with a filmy/smoky substance - - Ford told me they won't replace them becuase that is just how they come from the factory.

Mine has a light film on the lens, I think I can get them to replace both of them under warranty. I took the bulbs out and stuck my finger in the hole and wiped the lens and it came clean where I wiped it. Must be moisture and dust somehow got on the lens. Doesn't look very good.

Is there any way to get them off to clean them?

If they don't replace them under warranty I'm going to try and clean them. It will be very difficult as the lens is glued on just like the head light clear covers. I think with a little patience and a fashioned tool of sorts, you might be able to clean them from the light bulb hole. Although be careful, the metal bulb shroud is not glued in and will come loose. One of mine did, and I'm going to you this as an excuse to have them replaced under warranty. I plan on putting the OEM bulbs back in before taking it to the dealer. I replaced them with a yellow fog bulb, which I'm still not sure I like. It's alot dimmer than stock. I may buy some Sylvania Silver Stars and put them in if the lights are replaced under warranty.

I have been fighting Ford since I noticed mine - even sent a letter and photos to Ford Customer Service. All I get back was confirmation they received my stuff. From the dealership end, they simply stated that the fogs meet factory specs and Ford won't replace them.

PW, I'll let you know how my situation goes given the bulb shield being loose, which is now down in the lens rattling around. If they replace it, and the new one is the same foggy condition, I guess I'll have to live with it. If is noticeably cleaner, I'll do one of 2 things, demand they replace the other one or, go home and push the other bulb shroud out and take it back and tell them the other one came loose. Perhaps then they will know who they are dealing with LOL. It suprising that the shroud wasn't glued in. Oh well, we'll see.

Also, too bad to hear about the hail damage on your car, I bet your sick over it. Good luck on getting it straightend out.

Mine are getting replaced as the inner metal cage around the bulbs came loose and rattle around inside the lamp housing. The glue that holds them to the lamp base looks like it just melted!!

Looks like the folks at the Dealership are going to have to remove the entire front bumper cover to replace them. It doesn't bode well to those folks who want to add higher wattage H10 bulbs or even yellow ones. The stock bulbs already have a melting problem.
