Well guys i just recieved my mods from evo preformance the mods are 3.73 gears,C&L preformance cold air intake,TCI converter pluse cooler and finally custom tune with sct xcal2. So far i just installed the air intake and the tune that Fred from evo preformance did for me with the sct xcal2 and guys i am not the type to praise something for the hell of it but i gotta give credit when credit is due and all i can say so far with just the tune and cold air intake installed is WOOOOOOOW the car sound changed to a monster awesome sound and the power increase over the previouse custome predator tune that i had is unbelievably noticable.... here is the video of the sound http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E06KYQLM and hopefully after i install the rest of the mods ill post a video of my black pearl. If you dont mind me asking, did they beat the competitors' prices on the C&L intake with SCT tune? If so, what kind of price did you get? Private message me if you dont want to post it here.

Hey will_c i think you should call fred or email him at evo preformance he wil answer your questions,i called so many companys (not gonna mention any names) and asked for what they would recommend for my car and really didnt get much help. But then i called fred and mentioned to him that i needed my car to be powerfull and i want the best tune and mods, And the help and service i got from evo preformance was the best so far and i tell you will_c the diffrence in sound and the way the engine roared and the diffrence in the so many tunes i tried was unbelievable i felt the diffrence in power straight away. I too got the same setup you did from Fred. It is due to arrive today actually. I'm really looking forward to installing that baby and tuning it up. Fred told me over the phone that after the install, you wouldn't be able to tell it's the same car. and from your post, sounds like he was right.

anyway, question for ya - did you do the install yourself, and if so, about how long did it take you, was it difficult, did you run into any problems along the way? etc. etc.

i'm planning on doing the install myself, and according to Fred it's a pretty simple operation - just wondering if you had any helpful tips since you've gone through it already.

Hey blackb congrats man on getting this setup you wont be dissapointed at all and regarding the setup it was sooo simple it took me 10 minutes to install the C&L and the tune. All the other stuff am letting actually a specialist install them for me. Fred is right you wount believe the sound change and the power increase and the quickness of shift changing with his superb tune. Keep us posted also after you install yours.

Thanks man....i can't wait to install them - got the parts yesterday, so i'll probably install this weekend, and throw up a post after i drive it around a bit.

i have a feeling i'll just be repeating what you said here, but i know it's helpful for those who are looking into this setup.

I've been looking into a C&L and SCT-2 combo lately. So far Evolution Perfomance has the lowest price, by far; competitors are charging $650/$660 for the same package, Evo. charges $585!

True spartan and i was very impressed by thier customer service i mean fred answered all my questions and i called him over 5 times asking question after question while installing the tune and he was so helpfull even calling me internationally.......Like i said before i am not gaining anything from saying this the only reason i am because if anyone else was looking for a good setup i recommend evo performance tunes and mods.
