Default hurst shifter - thread size

New to the forum..... Does anyone know what the thread size is for the hurst shifter? I just ordered from Brenspeed but wanted to purchase a black hurst 5 speed **** for my black on black 06 gt. (already sent email to Brenspeed and they didn't know)

Thanks

The new stangs have changed just about everything... including thr thread size of the shifter...LOL. With the 05/06 model hurst shifter you will have the same thread as the stock and Hurst does make a T-handle and Black **** shifter **** but you have to make sure they are the 05/06 models. If you just order the regular ***** - they won't fit. They have a part number specifically for the 05/06 mustang - make sure you get that part number. I don't know what it is off hand but you can call summit and they will tell you.

Actually I think he's asking for the size of the aftermarket Hurst shifter threads, not the stock stick. Most Hurst shifters are 3/8"-16.
