Today I ordered my 06 Mustang GT premium Conv.And I think I may have screwed up my color combination.I ordered the car with the Redfire exterior with black top.Along with that I ordered the interior with the Red leather seats.Has anyone seen this combo before on a conv?
I saw some pictures with the red seats with red torch exterior and it looked nice.At first glance I thought the car was the redfire and chose my options according to what I saw in the photo.I have 4 weeks to make any changes to the car before it's built.Should I leave well enough alone or change the interior? Thanx in advance.

 

Believe me...the red aberdeen embossed leather is amazing. It just looks and feels so good! I have seen this combination, and it looks great! Get whatevery you want though...believe me you will spend alot of time in this car.

Yea my friend has a Black 05 Conv.With the red leather and it looks real nice.This is the link to the video with the color combo i was looking for.It's under 2005 mustang conv.I think the car in the video is torch red and not Redfire at second look. http://www.muscularmustangs.com/videos.php

 

Consider cloth interior then installing custom leather. You can choose any color you want.

I'm not sure the red leather will look so good with redfire exterior.

Good look SS, I'm thinking about doing the same thing with my cloth interior. I want to do that scheme in black with white centers.

 

I noticed that leather job didn't look so great, though...

Has anyone seen the link I provided above of the car in reference?Is that car torch red or redfire?When I placed the order today I went into the dealership thinking the video I saw was redfire.The lighting in the video makes it difficult to tell.Like I stated before I do have 4 weeks to make any changes.I also work for Ford Motor and live just north of Detroit. I do have the luxury and plan on making the trip to the Flat Rock plant to watch my car being assembled. I'm wondering if I should make a trip earlier and see whatthe car combo looks like in person.The dealer ran a search and found 4 cars at dealerships with my color combo's.But unfortunatley none are in my imediate area.If anyone should run across a photo with these color combo's and would post it It would be much apreciatied.The irony of it all is I use to work at the chesterfield trim plant where the mustang seats were made a couple of years back.When you see the bright red seat out of the car without any trim it looks terriable.But when done right with proper color schemes it looks unreal.I plan on adding the roll bar.The manufacture who created the bar for the 05 06 is also located here in the detroit area.It does wonders for the looks and is pretty inexpensive at 700.00.Turn signal light sequencers as well 150.00 and a chin for the fron from keeping it from scraping up the front underbody.I know I'm new to the forum but I have alot of recources at my disposal here in Detroit if there is any questions or help needed I'd be more than glad to help my fellow MUSTANG brothers.
