Save your money and keep your stock headlights. Other drivers who don't enjoy being blinded by these HID lights will thank you.

hey so are they brighter than stock? if so im gettin them because ppl here, cant even see a yellow mustang in the highway or street, they love to cut each other off here, its a real annoyance, and they deserve to be blinded

So far this is the only picture I've been able to find of a mustang with the Gen 2 projector headlights.
It'sfrom themustangnews.com and was part of the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction and Exhibition.

Not a very close shot, but it's obvious that the TeamX Saleen is using them.

If he had the stock tail lights, that car would actually look quite good.

Or even a decklid blackout would bring together the black-housed taillamps, I think that would make an improvement. Still, the 05 mustang, designed to look likeher fathers from the late 60's, is drastically altered when you take away those 3 vertical lamps. Not calling it ugly, just not myidea of american mustang heritage.

Thanks!
Rear Decklid Blackout made by Xenon - ebay $40
Tail light trim aka: Tail Shades Series 2 made by AVS (AutoVentShade) - ebay $55
The tailshades can also be found at mossmustang.com and v6mustang.com, last I checked (2 months ago)Moss Mustang did'nt have them in stock but v6mustangstuff did.

Keeping on topic, when they'reoff I think the aftermarket headlights look awesome, especially with the flashierfront bumpersmade by Street Scene, Roush, and the Shelby CS-6. On a stocker, it appears to be too much futuristic effort concentrated into a single area. My secondthought about these is the fact that on each "Gen" model of these lights, only one light can illuminate at a time. As seen in the picture, high or low beam, both leave the light source looking off center. With Gen 2, the lights are really close to the grille, or farther apart. To me, Halo's and LED's onmy stock bumper stang would only make me look like I'd rather drive a BMW.
