Default Black Spoiler

So I was thinking that a black spoiler on my car would look very nice...specifically with the amount of black accents already on the vehicle. Should I just have my current on painted at a body shop or should I just purchase a black 2010 spoiler off the internet?

I am taking off my white spoiler on my 2011 5.0 and letting a paint shop here spray it matte black. It's going to look sick! Will cost be about $300

Plasti Dip is the new Krylon , except that if you change your mind you can peel it off!

Did you remove it from the car to plasti dip it?
If so what steps did you take to remove it?

Nah, just wedge newspaper between the spoiler, tape it down, add extra newspaper around the area to avoid getting overspray on the rest of the car - not that it's a problem with plasti, just rub it off if it happens.

I did just replace my stock spoiler on my 5.0 the other day and that kind of sucked. Damn near ripped the thing off like Incredible Hulk until I found out it was easier to take an exacto knife to the tape after getting it started with the fishing line trick.

I'm going to get my GT 5.0 white spoiler (with camera) painted matte black tomorrow along witht the side mirrors. I think it's going to give it a nice off-set. I also added the black 5.0 emblems. I'll take pics soon and post by the end of the week.

OP you didn't tell us what color your car is!

White with black spoiler looks great

Just picked up a black GT spoiler for $75 shipped since I'm taking off my GT500 spoiler before trade in

Hey good fun. I bought a can of plasti dip. seems like regular paint except it scratches easily and I can't seem to get it to peel off the test model car i painted.

Shouldn't scratch that easy and just rub an edge and peel up.
