Mine's not a GT, but there's no difference really besides the front grille. Mine has a khaki top, which is the only other option besides black:

 

I'm a big fan of the black top. In addition I really struggled to like Kona blue. It's like Vista/Sonic blue were perfect but Ford felt like they had to change the color. I too an looking to add stripes to my vert.

As far as appearance goes, a hood scoop, side scoops, and the decklid panel is not bone stock. i have those on my car as well and paid quite a bit for those three items. your car looks great!

 

OK, so I ordered my car last week.

Decided to go with the coupe instead. Convertible just wasn't me.

Ordered a GT Premium in white with saddle interior
HID Headlights
Electronics package
Remote start.
Hood scoop, side scoops, louvers, raised spoiler

I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to come in. Haven't talked to the dealer since I ordered, but his original estimate was 6-8 weeks. Hopefully it won't take that long.

I was going to get the LeMans stripes as well, but I'm thinking of just getting them painted on after I get the car. I really want the stripes on this in blue.

Just thought I'd update a bit. I hope to be participating more once I actually get closer to getting the car. Got a lot to learn in a short time.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Kona Blue for the stripes.

 

Sounds great! Hope it comes in soon for you. My friend ordered a Kona Blue vert about 8 weeks ago, still doesn't have it. I ordered mine in March and it took 5 weeks. Go figure.
