Default how much for rear?

searched the forums but didnt find anything. i wanted to know how much is reasonable for the install of a new shelby rear valence? i know its one fifty from the dealer for the valence but how much am i looking at for the install from the body shop?

and then just because im pissed i have to say a guy at the muffler shop tried to rape me today! hah by rape i mean 600 bucks for the install of some used gt ehaust set up! i said man the frpp kit is around that much. thought he was going to say like 300? am i crazy for thinking that about used parts plus labor? i mean the used gt parts just sat there for a whole year already

This guy here claimed he did it himself in under an hour.. and the only tool needed is a Phillips head screw driver.

As for the exhaust, labor costs do not vary regardless of whether it's new or used. But I would still say he tried to overcharge you.

CL = Craigslist. You can find detailed instructions on Roush's website for their rear valance. It gets installed the same way as the GT500 / GT/CS rear valance.

I installed the Roush one, and I couldn't have done it with just a phillips, you really need a panel tool. It's not hard, though. No idea what a shop would charge.

80 bucks at the shop and 150 for the valence... not to bad. just need to save a bit more for the exhaust system! and then finally pull the trigger and do it

My exhaust cost me 100 dollars all parts n labor included

all they have to do is fab an H pipe......and make you a driver side over axle tube....and get hangers for the drivers side muffler

damn konastang i need to find a shop like you did! 100 for all? wow and wilkinda thats lame to hear you had a ford dealer do your pipes installation. I already called my ford dealership and they told me they don't do exhaust installs. even recommeded a lame shop in town for the job. I would be nice/ comforting to have some real ford tech's working on my exhaust for me. i wouldn' t mind paying them 80 bucks to do that either.
