I am going to get my stock KONA BLUE V6 next week. And need your help with the following mods...

SPORT STRIPES DECALS:
> what color would look good on Kona blue? (if you have pictures please post, or post links)
I am thinking metalic black. Don't want a huge contrast, b/c I will be driving it to formal functions and work.
> How wide?
I am thinking 10 inch with side pinstripe, or 12 inch without the pine stripe.

I think white or silver stripes would look killer on kona blue.

 

Your avatar says you are getting a 11 V6.
Did you change to an 11 V8 or an earlier year V8?

 

I live in Washington State too, so i looked up the tint and here is a link to it.
Mine was already tinted when i got my car.

I've seen matt black on that color and white which both look good. As far as the stripes I would go a 10" duel stripe with a 1" gap in the center and quarter inch pin stripes with quarter inch gaps.

 

White or silver on kona.

No pin stripe.

Since it's a v6, IMO i'd go with the 10' stripes with the 1/2' pin stripes. I've only seen the Kona blue with black stripes, Silver or White would definitely look great as well.

from the pictures I have seen silver or white are more common
But I want something more subtle so I was thinking black, but the pictures of black on kona don't look as good as pictures of silver on kona. Maybe in real life they look equally good. So its a hard decision.

Black or silver, this is the question?

I am not 100% sure if I can do 12 inch on 2011... It might be hard to install
