Default HID Lights, Can I trust this website?

Im looking to get my 2010 v6 Premium a HID conversion for improved looks. I was looking around on American Muscle and found a kit for the main lights at about $270. I trust AM however they only allow 8000k HID and im not sure if I want 6000k or 8000k yet. I found another website called Venomous Stangz Preformance. Has anyone ever heard or used this website? They offer a kit for the main lights for $160 dollars which includes everything the AM site has and allows you to chose between the different brightness. They also offer a fog light kit for $120. These prices are very good from what I have noticed. I was wondering if I should trust this website with HID lights and if anyone has any experience with them. Here are the links to their products I want.

Main Lights: http://www.venomousstangz.net/index....roducts_id=149

Fogs: http://www.venomousstangz.net/index....roducts_id=152

I was also going to get a LED white light for my license plate. Please let me know what you think about the lights. Also put your opinion on what Kelvin I should get, 8000k or 6000k. Thanks!

I have used venemous stangs for my HIDs and i recomend them hands fown. Venemous stangz is also known as HIDGUY.NET. I have 5k HIDs in my fogs and heads and it is just about straight white. I would buy from him agian in a heartbeat.

Go with 6k for the color 8k just starts to loose light output and gets a lil too much ricer blue going on. Install is cake btw. If you need anything else just ask.

Retro solutions needs to update their site, it's pretty crappy considering how much business they do

I'm thinking about doing this upgrade to my 2010 v6 kona blue. Stangmods also makes a kit but its higher priced then the Venomous Stangz kit. Anybody know the difference if there is any? Anyone have experiences with either or.

+1 for retro solutions site being crappy and outdated

edit/ get the 6000k colour. its what i wanna get

I have been looking into this as well. Any recommendations as far as 35w vs 55w? I've done some research, but am curious as to you guys opinions. And also, are there any drawbacks to going to the "slim" model?

As for the sights, both look good, I think you'd be safe with either one.

Definitely post pics after you decide and get them installed!

I went 35w 5000k. 35w is plenty bright enough. Since the reflector enclosures throw light above the cut off, I didn't want the additional glare that 55w would provide.

55w is crazy bright and it will look like you have your bright on all the time and it could possibley start melting your light housing. Im running the slim model and i dont think there are any draw backs except the fact that it cost a little more to only hide the ballasts easier.
