Default Lowering question??

Does anyone have the Ford Racing K lowering springs and have the CDC Chin spoiler. I am going to order these springs cause CJ has a heck of a deal going on and I was wondering if anyone had issues scraping the chin spoiler. Thanks also if you have pics of these springs installed I wanna see what it looks like

I don't have the chin spoiler, but i have the K-springs and love them. With low profile tires my car rides and handles like a caddy.

havent used those, but the steeda sports and koni shocks ride liek a dream if you end up shopping around. dont forget to order new strut mounts for the front, they ar eone time use parts and once you lower odds are you will need an adjustable panhard bar too. If you have any inclination of chnaging shocks IMHO wait until you are ready to do it all, teh shocks have to come off to change springs and you can add teh shocks fro no additional labor if done at the same time. Do it separately and you will have to repalce shock mounts twice.

I have them both and have not scraped once *knock on wood*. I don't have to go in any steep driveways but we do have some serious speed tables (huge speed bumps) getting on base. I have seen stock corvettes scrape these so this combo isn't too low.

ksguy73 - where did you get the hood stripes? They are awesome!

Thanks, they were custom installed by the dealer. I'm getting ready to have them removed and the whole bulge painted flat back and add a shaker I think. Not sure the stripes would go with the shaker too well.

Hi,

I plan on getting the Tein S-Tech springs (1" front, 1.9" rear) and an adjustable panhard bar.

How necessary are shocks and struts? Trying to mod on a budget... I can sacrifice some ride quality for $400+.
