I'm just wondering how many 12 year olds have the money or desire to pimp their $40K sports car?

I don't get where Ford is going with the marketing of the new Mustang???

The fact that the Mustang now has the street cred to compete with BMW and the like, and that the sticker price is pushing $40K on a nicely optioned non-vert GT would lead me to believe that the target buyer would be a 30-50 year old with a relatively decent income...maybe even a professional of some sort or someone with a family. That's the kind of buyer that doesn't want to pick up their kids from school in a car with horrible graphics or pay over $40K for a performance vehicle (Boss 302) that would make them look like a tool driving around town. I don't want to take my wife out to dinner in a car with a big Cobra graphic on the side or have every kid in a Honda try to race me on the way to the restaurant (it's bad enough as-is!) You'd never see factory crap packages like these from other car manufacturers...

There aren't any talented designers anymore, only talent verified by mommy, computer operators with a photoshop program onboard. Sometimes if it were not for bad taste there wouldn't be any.


I had chosen the black on black stripes because at my age (64), I wanted subtleness.
