2011 - REMOVING sequential signals ??
#11
I think I've been wanting the sequentials to come stock on Mustangs for years...I don't see why anyone would NOT like them, but to each their own.
I imagine the LEDs don't have much current draw. You could probably hack the wiring so that all three were connected in parallel with the first sequential LED, thus all lighting up at the same time and bypassing the ecu.
Why you'd want to do that much work to defeat something cool is beyond me though.

I would check any electrical schematic first. I know that some newer cars with led tail lamps there is a standalone controller that gets the 12v feed and distributes to the leds. If it sees incorrect output they might not work correctly and throw a fault that you have a dead led. I don't know if this is how it works on all vehicles but I know some that do.

I'd love to be able to do a sequential ricer fly by. Sequential hazards would be sweet

When I saw two cute chicks behind me suddenly point with all manner of astonishment at the back of my car when I flipped on my turn signal, I knew Ford made the right choice by introducing this feature on 2010 models.
