Hot Rod Flatz in Progress!
Dropped my girl off at a Custom Shop this afternoon...painting the center portion of the rear decklid in Flat Black. (Hot Rod Flatz)
I love the look, but I'm not a fan of the magnets, stickers, and plastic pieces. I've had a magnet on it so far, which looks decent, but the edges are getting funky and it's starting to shrink a bit so that body color is showing around the edges. For $29, I guess it is what it is, but I'm going all in with paint now! If it goes well, I could possibly explore additional flat black touches later...
Pics to come later this week. It was between Hot Rod Flatz and Dupont...and the guy doing it who has been doing custom work for 35 years, recommended the Hot Rod Flatz, so I went with it.
