The foam is under the bumper cover and is what takes the impact from a minor hit. If it is compressed any the new cover will fit loosely. The quarter panels are the sheet metal from the doors back to the rear bumper and up to the roof.

Maybe Pascal will see this and chime in, he does body work...But to me it looks like the bumper covers can be repaired without replacing. The front and rear bumper covers are pretty flexible plastic. You can most likely push the dent right out.

On the rear/side where the rear bumper cover connects to the 1/4 panel (right above the rear/side marker light) it looks like it just came out of the fastening tabs. If it just popped out and not broken, it can be popped back in by just pushing along the seam with your thumb.

But don't screw yourself out of a claim either. If it were me I'd hope that the frame IS bent and leave it looking as bad as possible.

i checked and i didnt see any foam the bumper is loose on the side and dented and the qaurter panels are good also except on the right side where the bumper is not coonect anymore to the car the is a small dent

the the trunk seems to pop up and opens and closes normally i didnt notice anythin beside the camera in the spoiler seems like its pushed to the inside from one side

the lines ( gape ) between the trunk and the qaurter panels is good too except i noticed there is like there is just a tiny bit of extra metal or dent but i think that from the factory not the crash

i wish the car comes back together perfectly

You cant see the foam (crush bar) unless you remove the bumper covers. But since they were hit, I'd imagine they did their job and crushed. So either way they should replace them for ya.

Ah, good old Bahrain. Haven't seen a license plate like that in a few years. How has the car handled the summer there? I had an old Suzuki Samurai when I was there, and sold it to Mahdi at the Souk. He's probably still driving the chuck wagon.

Hope the car gets fixed, and thanks for the flashback.
