by the way, how did you back out the rear panel? Is it painted?

Thanks again,

Hey Ken, Thanks. My wife's new pony is a Mustang Club of America (MCA) edition, which comes with the rear blackout, just like the GT/CS, which is vinyl from the factory. I just added the GT500/CS rear fascia with diffuser today, so it's looking even better. If I have time tomorrow, I will also install the Magnaflow Street Series Axleback I have waiting too. I'll take more photos when done. Hope you wife likes the spoiler. -Steve

Ken, Did you see these photos of the Barrett Jackson Grabber Blue Boss 302? It has the pedestal spoiler painted black. Checkout these photos.

SoFL05GT,

I live less than 5 miles from Barrett Jackson but didn't get a chance to get there this year. Bummer as that is one awesome car. Thank you. We really like that black spoiler! I think that's the way we're going to go.

I need to see if anyone makes a vinyl black out panel. We tried the magenetic one but it was a pain having to remove it for cleaning and then it ripped.

Thanks again,
Ken

Glad you liked the photos. Check with the local car dealers or your local mustang web sites to find a dependable person that applies vinyl stripes or graphics. They can fix you up real quick. Below is my wife's old pony that we gave to our son, which has a vinyl blackout. I won the pre-cut blackout in a raffle and applied it myself almost three years ago. I also did the black fading side stripes myself, which are also vinyl, about five years ago.

I agree it needs some black on the hood. We're leaning toward the "spear" hood stripes that we've seen on several cars on the site. And probably the reverse 'C' stripes as well.

Well, my wife decided she wants the pedestal spoiler for sure. Guess I'll be ordering one.

Anyone want to buy an unused GT500 spoiler painted Grabber Blue? LOL.

Thanks again for all the comments.

This is the OEM Spoiler http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OEM-2...s#ht_500wt_956
and it is the cheapest I have found for the Ford Part, to bad for the $30 for shipping.
If you know someone that has a Business account at a Ford dealer it comes up around $281 and change.
