Default Stripes 2010

Has anyone put the flat blk fender stripes on the drivers side of there car? If so what does it signify? Send pic for all of us to view. thnks

Guess I'd better redo the question: I meant the 2 stripes from the hood edge to the wheel well on the drivers side front. Hope this is better input for you all stang dudes....:

i read a story about why they did that on the GS corvette several years back. They are technically rookie stripes. apparently in the 60's a major factory team had two drivers in identical cars. they took red duct tape and put two stripes on the fender to signify the rookie driver so they could tell the cars apart. hence the term "rookie stripes" i think that was in the motor trend review of that car. i forget what year, but it was the older body style with the flip up headlamps. car only came in blue with those red stripes on teh fender.
