Default Detail help

Hi Guys,

I don't have a lot of experience when it comes to detailing. I usually take my cars somewhere. But with the new mustang, I love it and would like to some things in between the washes on my own to keep it looking great.

I seem to get some water spots from our sprinkler system. Is there a product that will remove them easily? I tried the McGuires quick detailer, but it is not removing the spots.

I use a california duster a couple of times a day. Usually before work and when I get home.

I have thought about using a waterless cleaner, but have no real knowledge of them.

Any help or advice you guys can give is greatly appreciated.

you are not going to remove the spots with instant detailer..they are etched into your paint from the sun...you can try and clay bar it as they might not be bad and still above the surface and not etched to bad..So it might help to remove some..other then that you would have to get a Machine to buff them out

^^ +1... Meguiar's also makes a Speed Glaze #80 product that works great. It lightly cuts, polishes, and protects all in one. I use it with an orbital buffer before applying NXT 2.0 wax and it works great.
