Default Tacky?

I'm about to go out and get a V6 4.0 Sterling Grey 2010 Mustang and I was wondering, is it tacky or weird to decorate the exterior with GT, 5.0, and V8 emblems?

The word "Poser" comes to mind.

It wouldn't been very cool. I can understand GT500 seats, but not just emblems. That is a little "poserish"

Haha It wouldn't feel right anyway really. Thanks for the input though.

i wouldn't do it, but i would never buy an American car that wasn't v8 if i had the option between v6 and v8. however i wouldnt see a problem if you put a GT or GT500 kit on it just as long as you didnt put the badges on it hehe

Don't do it... the front bumper is far as I would go... not even the GT fog light grille.

"Fake badging" is not cool, imo.

BUT, it's your car and your money. F what these guys (and I) on the internet say.

yeah..uhh...why do you want to put V8, GT, or 5.0 emblems on it if its not.

Not only will you look like a dunce when someone that knows anything about cars in general will know the difference but if some idiot does think you have a V8 under the hood you'll make the real GT's/V8 5.0's look bad when you get your butt handed to you by some kid in souped up ricepot.
