Default SHR Louvers Installed

A few pics of my SHR louvers installed last weekend.

Tape job

Quarter window removed.

Finished.

I didn't do an entire write-up as this was already done much better than I could.

Thanks. The interior removal and louver install took about 3 hours. I worked slow and carefully. On the 2010+, the interior panels around the louver needs to be trimmed which was a pain and took about another 1.5 hours.

I have a few issues on the louver paint quality I will be writing to SHR about soon. One edge was lacking some paint and will need touch up. Didn't notice until after the install unfortunately.

Looks great. I was considering these for a while but didn't want to go through install as the AM pre-painted louvers were easier and look good too

Thanks all for the compliments. I love the look. Awaiting receipt of me SHR decklid panel which has been on order since 11/2010. Should finally be available late summer.
