So I was painting my side gt emblems and rear faux gas cap black today, but the faux cap fell and got messed up. I was wondering if anyone was willing to sell me one they no longer need, or if anyone has ideas on what to replace it with. From ford the part is $109 new, which is insane for a little piece. I was thinking about a decklid panel like the ones from american muscle. Any ideas?

 

Get a decklid panel that gets rid of the faux cap.

So pissed it got messed up =/. I was thinking about one of those panels, but I kind of like the way the faux cap looked all black but I'm not spending $100 for a new one.

No it fell out of my hands and hit the street so there were deep chips and nicks in it.

 

well since its messed up..cant hurt to go get some bondo and try and fix it..if it doesnt work then still in same situation and not any worse off
