Default Wax Removal

Alright ....I give up !.... I got some over sprayed wax (Meguires) on the black plastic rocker panels of my '11 stang and for the life of me I can't get it off ??
Even Prep-sol dosen't remove it ??

What products and or tricks have you gents used ?

You can try:

Isopropyl alcohol & scrub.
APC full strength & scrub.
Pink pencil eraser
Peanut butter (the oil in the PB is what works).

I find Mr Clean magic eraser works..with a little bit of a cleaner used with it..it will make it look worse cause it strips it down..so it will need dressed with a trim product after..I also have Pre-WOW that is made for removing dried on wax..used it for first time last week and it seems to work

interesting, I suppose I need to use a little more elbow grease, It's the texture of the black plastic that makes it tough.

Trim restorer works for me any time that happens. Works like a charm.

sorry it doesnt remove ANYTHING..it only covers it for a little while and looks like it removed it..the stuff isnt very durable and will wash off in like 2-3 car washes. It just looks like it removed it.

Hmmmm...........regardless I'll check it out and see what the 'bottle says', I think I may try the prep-sol again, this time with a tooth brush.
