Default Got my grabber blue 5.0....now need black wheels!

I got the 5.0 a little over a week ago, and I have done some modding. I have the AM black billet grille (upper and lower), the black 5.0 emblems, and the blackout panel on the back between the taillights.

Now, I want matte black or dark-dark gray wheels. I currently have the optional 19's on the car now, but I think I want 18x9 front and 18x11 rear. Any suggestions?? I would consider 19's or 20's, but I don't know what looks best?

Thanks,
Derrick

Congrats! Good color choice ;-)

Can we see some pics of the new ride/mods??

I think the black RTR wheels look the best on our cars, especially on GB...its just too bad everyone and their brother is going that route.

i think you should go with a graphite color wheel anything but black or chrome. Almost all grabber blue 'stangs have black wheels. We will not use the black wheels on our grabber blue 'stang since everyone and their dawg does that. It's just not for us. We personally think our 'stang looks cleaner without the dark wheels. Check out our pics.

tsw nurburgrings look sick on Gb, i had them on my 10. run a search for them and you will find the pics. American muscle now sells them in the correct offset for our cars too.

Here what my tsw's that I had powdercoated semi gloss black look like on my car. I Loved the way they looked on shanes car and after reading how light & strong they were I had to get them. I also run the same setup shane had which is 18x9 up front with a 255 and 18x9.5 out back with a 285. Also you can look up digital synapse who has forgestars which are more expensive than the TSW's but they are gorgeous rims too!

I can post more pics if you'd like or just PM me

Thanks for the tips guys. I am really looking for a 10.5" or 11" wide rear rim. I want to run a 315 or 335 wide drag radial.

Here is pics. I have also included a pic of my 98!

I picked up some brembos to go for a look a little different than the norm of black wheels, while still bringing the color tone of the wheels closer to the black portions of the rest of the car.

I personally love it, especially since you can find take off brembo wheels, sensors, and tires for damn cheap compared to individual purchasing.

I got mine for about $1150, including shipping to IL from TX. After looking it all up, being that the tires alone retail for $350 even online, I'm stoked about snagging the set. Plus so far I haven't seen any other 5.0s with brembos so it's a unique touch.

If you really want 10.5 or 11's, then I would go with Forgestar or Vossen wheels. Both are expensive but both companies have some wheels to drool over lol

To put an 18"x11" on the back you have to relocate the sway bar and cut off part of the sway bar mounting bracket other wise you can't get the wheel on.
