Default Trunk Lid Letters

Guys I want to put MUSTANG trunk letters on the back of my car, which is white. Since my car is white should I go with chrome letters like these (http://www.americanmuscle.com/mustan...k-letters.html) or should I just have vinyl letters put on the back of my car? BTW, the chrome letters coast like 24 bucks and the vinyl letters will cost 120 dollars installed.

I want it to look retro like the old Bosses of the day.

My car:

I think it's going to look crowded. Your ride looks dope as is. I wouldn't shove more lettering into a tight space. There was a much wider trunk face on those old Bosses since it lacked a third brake light. Just my two cents. If you already made your mind up though, I'd go with chrome to honor the old look.

Notice there is no 3rd brake light on the old boss...those letters will look cluttered and out of place...please don't. Next i'm going to hear that you're getting an ugly pedestal wing!

I would go with the vinyl if you are really set on doing it, but I agree with previous posters, it will just look cluttered most likely.

haha it kinda sucks, Ace, your car is so cool that you can't do much to the exterior to make it better.

It's not that crowded. Just get same font size as the Shelby lettering

I'd only say it would look busy with the decklid panel

Hmmm, maybe you guys are right.

BTW, here is a picture of what it would look like on the back of my car if I decided to do it.

^^ Bad Color Change Photoshop ^^

And don't worry Bakerjd the only other mod I am possibly thinking about it the MRT front splitter. It looks like the Boss Laguna Seca splitter but it is more street legal.

Don`t do it...looks way too cluttered...cheapens the clean look...

As mean as your car looks already, I actually think that splitter would look great. Nice choice, I say go for it. You can melt those tacky MUSTANG letters down to use on the turnbuckles.

Not a fan of the letters. Put the money towards the splitter.
