just make sure you let your tint settle, i wouldnt use the defroster either, when applied by a good shop it wont bubble, and if it ever bubbles down the line, hell it can be so cheap just do it again!
also, i have a kona blue and that thing does not show dirt at all lol, it shines from a distance but up close its dirty as can be

yea my defrosters have never been on LOL car doesnt go out in winters only nice sunny warm days. Thats the one thing I was a little bummed about..he musta have used a bit of a crappy towel wiping off excess water and left some micromarring I had to clean up on my paint.

I'm probably screwed then :-(
I live in Oregon where it rains 99.9% of the time and my car is a daily driver that often hauls around two kids in the back. In other words my back window would be constantly fogged up if I didn't use the defroster.

I want to tint my back window and the quarter panel windows dark but am sort of paranoid about it looking all 'bubbly' in a couple of years. The new films hold up good, right? I just remember seeing all those cars in the 80's with bubbled rear tint due to the defroster heat separating the film from the window.
But I got it retinted and it looks good as new. I say go for it and it it starts to bubble just get it re-done after a few years. Tint is just one of those things that has to be re-done ever so often (about 4 to 5 years)
I drove it all through last winter and it doesn't have a single bubble yet.
