Default Made a few upgrades Bought from AM

Still need to do a couple more things but it should look decent when I'm done
This is what it looked like before the new mods

I ordered some projectors with a black background and a saleen grill. It doesnt say saleen on it and I like the design so I figured it was a non rice move.
Taking the front apart was cake on this car. Never thought it would be that easy.

Got the grill off

gave the horse to Ant in case anybody was going to ask for it.
Finished product (sorry for night time cell pic)

at c&c

Not real excited about the halo's but they look fine with the headlights on or all turned off.

Out in Kaufman

Still to come is I'm going to try and plasti dip the gt badges on the side in black. I wanted to delete them but there is a hole behind the badges
Then possibly the trunk will have a few changes as well. Not really sure if I will do it or not yet. I dont want too much black.

What temp HIDs are you running?

With the projectors w/smoked lenses I found anything over 4300k wasn't enough output for me.

I don't think they are actual hids though they act like them. The bulbs and hardware are all built into the housing. i haven't really tested them at night to know if they are bright enough or not. Last night I drove around 6 ish and it was kinda dark but they were fine then.

Here is the link to the ones I purchased if you want to research them more. http://www.americanmuscle.com/headli...proj-2010.html
Sorry I couldn't give you more details.

I have them. The bulbs that came with the lights (halogen) were crap.

Your pic looks like you have HIDs...unless it's a weird effect from the cell cam (w/flash?)

Yeah its probably the affect of using a cell phone lol

I will see if I can get a shot of it at night time tonight while inside the car for you. The manufacturer said these werent made for hids. have you had any issues with yours yet?

I haven't had any issues with them so far (knock on wood). A ton of headlights (OEM & Aftermarket) aren't made for HIDs, but we run them at our own risk.

With the smoked lenses, I can't believe anyone doesn't use HIDs in them.

Starbai is running HIDs in his projectors as well.

the lense isnt smoked, its just the inside casing, but I did have issues with my 3rd gen camaro I had before, I ended up changing the black background headlights to the chrome ones and installed hids. They were way to bright but they did there job.
