Default Made a front lip

Got another diy itch and decided to make a lip. I think it turned out great while only costing me 40 bucks!

Now what do I do with the rest of the 4x8 sheet lol

That looks good. How much does it weigh?

Not sure. Around 3 pounds I'd say. It's 1/8" abs

A write up would be nice, looks good and beats paying $120 to buy one

Looks great! But you should look into trimming the sides, IMO they stick out a little bit.

Also, maybe paint it a darker shade of black? Might be the lighting, but it seems like it doesn't match the black on the CS bumper. Maybe make yourself a carbon fiber one? =D

Either way, it sure beats paying like ~$200 for a similar lip.

I shook my head when I saw the thread title and clicked on it expecting to see another home depot racing weather trim lip LOL.

that doesn't look half bad at all for a DIY. I'm impressed with what you did - hopefully when you clean it up good it looks like a solid shade of darker black though?

That looks really good! Must have been a nice little project. Maybe you can make similar ones with the extra sheet and sell it if someone's interested. If I had a GT, I'd ask you for one .

Definitely would love a write up/parts list as well! It looks great. I have been wanting to do this same thing to my roush bumper
